David Temoshok, Senior Policy Advisor, Trusted Identities Group Applied Cybersecurity Information Technology Laboratories National Institute of Standards and Technology U.S. Department of Commerce

David Temoshok is currently serving as senior policy advisor with the Trusted Identities Group of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Mr. Temoshok focuses on building public – private sector partnerships and international standards to promote secure, privacy-enhancing online services on national and global scales.

Prior to this appointment, David served as the Director for Federal Identity Policy and Management for the Office of Government-wide Policy of the U.S. General Services Administration. In this capacity, David was responsible for the development and deployment of identity management policies and infrastructure for the Federal Government, including the Federal Bridge Public Key Infrastructure, government-wide implementation of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) and the design, testing, and government-wide implementation of the Federal Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card. David has served in numerous leadership positions in the Federal Government in the areas of cybersecurity, financial management and grants management.
