Colin Wallis, Executive Director, Kantara Initiative Inc
Colin leads the Kantara Initiative Inc. a globally acknowledged Trust Framework Provider of Accreditation and Approval verification for Identity Providers and Credential Service Providers and IDESG's first liaison partner. Kantara's open and inclusive philosophy to community development aligns with IDESG's and attracts the leading edge cross membership from experts in identity and privacy-related innovation. Building on 15 years of contribution to international standards and consortia, Colin maintains other leadership positions across the consortium space in Information Security, Privacy and Trusted Identity, He sits on the OECD's ITAC (Internet Technical Advisory Committee) and following his move from New Zealand to the UK to take up his post leading Kantara, he has resigned his role as NZ's Head of Delegation to ISO JTC1 SC27 WG5 and instead now heads Kantara's formal liaison to the same Group.
